Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred in Graphic Design / Web Design.
Your experience and skills
Design
- 8+ years of design experience (with at least 5 years of web experience and 3 solid years art directing)
- A mastery of online marketing and promotions
- A solid understanding of UI/Product/Application design process and methodology
- Ability to effectively and positively lead a design team
- Proven ability to interpret, implement and defend company and corporate brand
- Excellent conceptual skills
- Ability to take original design concepts to a live online experience
- Ability to communicate rationale behind design concepts
- Outstanding visual style and eye for professional design
- Critical and logical eye for detail
- Portfolio must emphasize polished typography, layout, color, imagery, space, and interactive elements
- Ability to develop solutions under tight deadlines
Technical
- Proficient on both Mac and PC platforms
- Proficient in Adobe CS4 Suite and Flash
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid working knowledge of various web technologies (e.g., HTML, XML, JavaScript, Ajax, Flex)
- Comprehensive understanding user experience, online industry standards and terminology
- Effective and efficient research skills
