Overview:

Responsible designing corporate communications architecture, analysis of new technologies and the planning for their implementation into the existing infrastructure. May require the preparation of large scale RFP�s as the need for new or enhanced technology is identified. Works with vendors by assuming the role of project leader and directing the vendor through written specification documents, design, walk-thrus, test plans and results. Works with client organizations to analyze technical problems, recommend solutions, and direct development of high level requirements. Viewed as technology leaders, in their respective areas of expertise such as the LAN/WAN, network design and communications integration. May perform or manage problem resolution activities to ensure minimal service disruptions. Utilizes change management tools to coordinate software, hardware and network configuration changes with inter- and intra-departmental personnel, vendors and service providers. Assesses effect of changes and schedules testing and back-out procedures where required. Designs communications solutions to meet customer requirements. Utilizes company standards, technological expertise and customer requirements to establish effective and efficient solutions. Where appropriate, establishes new standards as business needs dictate.SUPERVISORY: NO

Responsibilities:

* Provide network designs for large permanent venues and temporary events

* Mentor and train System Engineering team members

* Configuration of third party products

Qualifications:

* Experience with supporting, deployment, and design of a large permanent venue and temporary events

* Experience with configuring cisco products

* Experience with configuring AWS NMD
